I plan to go to BYU. And all the high school teachers tell me that most colleges require a second language. I want to learn sign language instead of Spanish. Is sign language considered a second language that I need to get into college?

My friend recently told me that ever since the mid-60’s actors must go into a recording studio and re-record every single piece of dialogue for every major motion picture made since then.

I maintain that this is far too extraneous and that actors must only re-record dialogue for lines that are obscured by external noises, or mic issues, or what have you; not every single line.

So which is it? Must actors re-record all of their lines for all major movies? Or do they only re-record lines that require it?
