Sure! Contact me! I like to talk to others from around the world. In fact, I reckon I had a French pen pal once upon a time. I don’t know what happened to him, though. I’m 46 and live just outside Philadelphia, about an hour and a half from NYC. I’ve been to France and LOVED IT! Even the Parisians were extremely friendly.
Anonymous does have a point about Internet grammar! lol
Your English seems to be quite excellent already. I don’t know if you must be looking to improve your skills on the internet, most of the people don’t exactly have perfect grammar. “lol”
Go to these internet sites and you can find plenty of people your age, younger and older.
http://www.iTalki.com
http://www.sharedtalk.com
http://friendsabroad.com
The first two have an instant chat function. I use these sites to find friends for Italian then we switch to skype. You do know about skype, right?
http://www.skype.com
It is free, it can be set to french or english, and with a high speed connection at both ends you can phone for free and even make video phone calls for free. It also has a chat function so that you can supplement the phone call with a chat, if necessary. (“Please spell that. I did not be with you.)
I have been using it for over two years and really met Skype friends on trips to Italy.
If you don’t have a high speed internet connection, you can still use the chat function.
Microsoft Courier is another free software program that is excellent but not as excellent as Skype, and you can also find it on the internet. You may meet some people who prefer Courier.
