Thomas Hardy writes Thе Return Of thе Native.
@freebeerfordworkers I reckon I’m only half sad as I waited until Monday to check out A A Gill’s sugestion. Check out Dinner for One, it’s ancient but brilliant.
@freebeerfordworkers
whooo sunday times gang clockin in!!
Fascinating to see how many of us poor sad bastards who have nothing better to to do on Sunday but look up AA Gill on You Tube.
@panacea999.
Very excellent! Although I find AA Gill nearly as disagreeable as Monty Python unfunny and thought I’d verify both beliefs in one action.
I certainly have not altered my opinion of either.
Shame on you : if AA Gill told you to jump off a cliff would you do it?
“A saturday afternoon in… in… in… in.. november… november spelled incorrect!”
Listened to this over and over as an adolescent.
Doesn’t make sense.
a sat…?
Superb Python brilliance – wonderfully supplemented by the silly wasp/tiger club interlude. Priceless!
“It looks like Tess of the D’Urbervilles all over again” LOL
…he’s not going back….it looks like he’s going for the sentence…lol
wow… i remember listening to this one, spooned up against you, my darling… on a hot corner of salem street.
xD I have to laugh!
So amusing im doing an essay on Thomas hardy and this helped.
