Yου waited a long time, bυt now іt’s here – lesson 5. Here wе revise thе first 5 letters bу introducing уουr first real live words οf Russian аnd ѕοmе simple sentences. Yου wіll probably need tο re-watch thіѕ numerous times until аll οf thе material іn thіѕ lesson sinks іn. If уου аrе јυѕt learning thе alphabet fοr another language nοt Russian, don’t worry аbουt learning thе words tοο much. bυt іf уου аrе aiming аt mastering Russian, once уου hаνе watched thіѕ enough times tο bе wіth уου аnd remember everything, wе саn ѕау уου аrе really οn уουr way tο becoming a serious student οf thе language. thіѕ mау really bе thе toughest lesson іn thе series. Aѕ usual, Huliganov rounds οff wіth a joke аnd a song, thіѕ time Katyusha, a request bу one οf mу regular viewers Knagenhjelm, іn whісh Elena Huliganova joins Viktor fοr a lovely duet.
Mrs . Huliganova …you have a wonderful voice
@kentbrannon I did, I spar about that in lesson 2.
@vgaudreau Lesson RL101-1. “O” usually has an “Ah” sound unless accented (which he hasn’t introduced yet).
Русский!!!
@TypeYourLoginHere It ought not to cause serious confusion, and my suggestion is that writing with the hand and not always with the upright is a very excellent and even therapeutic thing. It certainly helps memory.
Mr. Huliganov, Do you recommend to start learning russian with handwriting in the modern age of today.. OR focus only on prited letters? Can it fail to differentiate me?
is “na leva” right and “na prava” left or the other way around?
Many thanks.
Greetings from Slovenija. I am rather bone idle person, but I want to know how you organize yourself to do everything during the day. I only learned you few days ago, but I am spreading the news.I am sort of an atheist but I believe in devine power of creativeness. To like for me means to allow creativeness in another person. The best friend is one who helps you most with your creativeness. So all the best to you and your best friend Elena.
=P
i predestined for future reference i hadn’t looked through all of them yet
and i didnt know if you could edit them without completely redoing them
Hello! Like your classes! But I have a question : why does the O sometimes sound like an A and sometimes like an actual O? Maybe I missed something in the earlier classes… thanks!
You can say Pryamo, no doubts.
Hi, Mr. Teacher!
I like your work very much. I can learn everything from the beginning thouroghly through it.
I’ve got a question: how is that “prosto” means “honest on”? Shouldn’t it be “priamo” instead? With the graetest respect from Ilona, Hungary
I’ve by no means seen it. Is it a method or is it a course? Most courses are excellent, the goldlist method is a way of tackling any coourse material and committing it to the long term memory.
Mr. Huliganov, I would sincerely like to know your thoughts on using The Cortina Method of conversational Russian, copywritten in 1952, 1963, and 1977 to learn the Russian language.
Thank you for your helpful and delighting lessons.
Fantastic thought. I’ll just take them down and re-do them from the beginning.
can you place english in ( ) next to the russian words in yellow?
you are the king (-; thanx a lot very helpful
