If you take our alphabet, the corresponding Dev letters are very similar, and moreover, they seem to follow a logical progression, where if you change the previous letter ever so little, you get the next one. The traditional way of teaching these letters, I find, is not helpful at all, since their order makes no particular sense to the non-linguist (namely, us). The way I show here, so long as you can remember your ABC, you should be fine. The other letters will come later, after I have found a good way of presenting them. For now, though, you should already be able to transcribe words of any Romance language in Dev script. I&#8217;ll be putting stuff on www.orgsites.com/ct/learnhindi as I go along..</p>
