Im 26 year old filmmaker/writer and I was wondering if any great writers/screenwriters out there have any ideas how I can improve my dialogue. My favorite writer and director is Quentin Tarantino. I would like to learn how to write great brilliant dialogue like him. Thank You!

I guess what I really want to know is will agents accept just the in depth story and then employ someone who can develop the dialogue. Dialogue doesn’t seem to be my forte. However I can write the story part really well.

You are going to have summer vacations in your college. You want to go on an excursion trip to different areas in the north of Pakistan. Write a dialogue of about 10 lines between you and your friend discussing your plans as to which places would you like to visit, how would you go, etc.

like how would you indent and stuff. I am making up my own narrative, and I want to know how to space the dialogue between characters.
and after one dialogue. If you want to write a description, is that also a new paragraph or no?
does it need to be indented?

I have to write a socratic dialogue and I have no idea where to start. It would be greatly appreciated if somebody could write one for me as an example to follow. Thank you!
